Here are the brief introductions of the presidents of Pax Earth Nepal and Pax Earth Japan.

Sujan Koirala
President, Pax Earth Nepal since July 2008

•Born in 1980, Sujan Koirala is a Nepali citizen presently pursuing Master of Philosophy in Management (M.Phil./Management) from Tribhuvan University (T.U.), Kathmandu, Nepal. He is specializing on Marketing. He got Master’s of Business Studies (MBS) degree from T.U. in 2004 specializing in Finance. His MBS thesis entitled “Formation of Optimal Portfolios from the Common Stock Listed in Nepal Stock Exchange Ltd.” was adjudged the best among the post graduate level thesis of T.U. for the year 2006/07 and was awarded with Krishna Chandra Regmi Award.
•He does have a long experience being involved in several educational, health, environmental and youth life-skills development activities.
•He has published some research articles in Nepalese journals. Besides, he has also written some youth related articles for scouting magazines.
•He had coordinated several collaborative projects between rover scouts of Nepal and Japan (Pax IV Hyper) as well as U.K. (Nottinghamshire) during May 1999 to Dec. 2006. He graduated from rover scouting in Dec. 2006.

Soko Aoki, Ph.D.
President, Pax Earth Japan since July 2008

•Born in 1978, Soko Aoki is a Japanese citizen presently running an information technology start-up company called Kadinche Corporation in Tokyo, Japan. He is specializing on computer science. He got Master’s of Media & Governance degree and Doctor’s of Media & Governance from Keio University in 2003 and 2008 respectively. His doctoral dissertation’s title was “A Study of Node Coordination Middleware for Ubiquitous Sensor Actuator Network.”
•He has three years of experience working in a research division of electronics company called Sony Corporation. There he was a research scientist pursuing the research on digital image processing.
•He does have a long experience being involved in several educational, health, environmental and youth life-skills development activities in organizations such as Scout Association of Japan, Pax IV Hyper, and LEAD International.
•He has published some research articles in Japanese journals. Besides, he has also written some Asian related articles in J.B.Press an online news website in Japan.
•He had coordinated several collaborative projects between rover scouts of Nepal and Japan (2002-Present), Bangladesh and Japan (1999-2001), and Mongolia and Japan (2004).
